After reading other reviews on google I was a little worried about booking here but as it was the cheapest I went ahead and risked it So happy I did, you can’t always trust reviews, most people don’t leave a positive review unless the service received was highly above expectations, but a lot of people leave a negative review at the smallest problem. From my experience I have nothing but good things to say from this hotel. Yes there is no parking but there is plenty of parking on the side road, the room was really tidy and clean, and the staff answered any messages I sent to them very promptly. Definitely will be coming back If you’re worried about booking here after reading other reviews all I can say is don’t let other people’s reviews put you off. Go yourself and find out for yourself and you’ll find it a perfect cheap little place to stay if you need to stay in this location
Room was lovely and clean bedding toilet sink was clean too bright room tge owner was very pleasant and advised us what was what and how to get into Manchester town via the bus destination was in a good place definitely stay again in the future
We stayed here as we were going to the AO arena. We walked to the arena and got a taxi back. Tha taxi was £6.40. The room was airy and clean. We had a problem with the TV and the gentleman went above and beyond to try and sort it for us. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. We will certainly be staying next time were in Manchester.
Enjoyed 3 days stay at this hotel. Nice clean room, comfortable bed and close to the city centre. Limited parking though, but you can park on the street in front free of charge.
Check in was simple and easy although cleaning staff checked us in. The room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfy and duvet nice and crisp. However we’re used to a super king bed with lots of pillows so the one pillow each was something to get used to. All in all was a comfortable stay and it was a short Uber into town which was very handy. A set of front door keys would have come in handy but luckily another guest was in the entrance to let us in.
The room was quite small, but overall okay for the price - decent value. However, the main issue was on our last night when the guests above us were having very loud sex, and it went on for most of the night. It was extremely audible and made it hard to sleep - very unpleasant. Also, it was difficult to reach the staff when we needed something, which could be a serious problem in case of an emergency. We also couldn’t find any sign in the room to request cleaning or fresh towels, so we had to ask in person. Overall, it was fine for a short stay, but there are definitely things to improve.
My boyfriend and I came to stop here for the Panic! At the disco concert, and for the price these rooms are lovely! They’re small and did the job of giving us a place to stay. But the rooms were tidy, the bed was super comfy (the duvet and pillows are feathers tho, good to keep in mind for allergies). Late check out is a £15 charge but the owners are super understanding and I explained that we’d be checking out late and why as well as asking for details to send the money to and they did it straight away with no massive pressure to get out straight away. 10/10 recommend for short stays in Manchester
The Room was value for money cheep and cheerful..budget room..the room was clean and tidy the toilet/shower was spotless i stayed in room 6..and to be honest the bed was extremely comfortable likewise with the pillows while staying there for me it was very quiet..would I recommend this place *YES*
